Meet Mike, Traklight’s Internet Media Coordinator

Previously in our Traker series, we introduced you to Peter Adams. Today’s feature is Mike Willee, a man who loves the art of the subtle joke and effete Mancunian rock stars.

What I learned about IP before I started at Traklight:

I had something of an understanding what intellectual property is and its importance, but I was unaware of the extent of what can be considered IP.

Something about me that would be a surprise to learn:

I can’t say there is much about me that could be considered surprising. If anything, people seemed to be surprised by my wit, if only because of the seriousness with which it is delivered. Oscar Wilde would want no part of me, so it’s to his benefit that he’s been dead for 114 years.

Any deep dark secrets that are past the statute of limitations?

Past? No. Can I stay in the present? Some say I know two facts about ducks, and both are wrong. Some say that I spend my nights roaming the woods, foraging for wolves. All anyone knows is, I’m called the Stig.

If you were alone in the car, what song would you sing and why?

“There is a Light That Never Goes Out” by the Smiths. It’s beautifully written and haunting.
